Crystal was referred to Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN; multi-church homeless shelter program) through one of the kid's school counselors. At that time, she was living in "deplorable conditions," apparently being "scammed" by her landlord. Since entering the IHN program, she has been working and has saved $1000 to help her and her family get into her own housing.Crystal will successfully graduate from the IHN program at the end of January and will be moving into her own an apartment. She will have a few furniture items that have been donated by others from the various churches participating in the IHN program. She is in need of 5 beds (4 for the children and 1 for her).Under Construction has started on building 5 beds for Crystal and her family. Additional needs include: vacuum cleaner, kitchen table & chairs, a couple of dressers, and cooking utensils.
